Saturday 14th Feb
Never got to gym. Rubbish week last week only one gym session which was a really good one that I oughta been repeating. This morning walked up to town and back first thing to get papers then played absolutely woeful golf - couldn't hit a cows ass with a shovel, it was that bad. Haven't played for a couple of weeks but still - very poor. Have been pottering about washing cars and doing jobs in afternoon. Need to get back into gear tomorrow - hoping to be up early doors and running long. Chap we played golf with today sponsored me five pounds - top man Andrew Dutton is, didn't ask him or anything just a naturally generous chap - wish I was more like that.
Friday 13th Feb
Am bit naffed off at not having got to gym since Monday but will get there today all being well. Did a really fast for me three mile run to paper shop and back this morning. Am absolutely knackered at the moment but am drinking much less coffee and that seems to be having a very positive effect on the running, wierd as it sounds. It might well be all in the mind but who knows!!
Thursday 12th Feb
Slippy but at least runnable onable. Did a quick 3 miler as had to be in office for a meeting at 8:30am.
Weightloss - thank the lord!!! Got into such a bad place with my weight since Christmas it's unbelievable. Last week I got Janet to do me a weighin on Friday as I missed the new group time on Thursday. Again couldn't attend group proper today as am up to my neck in work so she did me a personal weighin. Week 1 weight loss is 5lbs which is good and takes me down to 15st 10lbs (how did I get so far off track???!) . Anyway it's a start and in the right direction - better than when I started in 2007 at 18st 11lbs!
Wednesday 11th Feb
Got togged up for running early doors, out on the road at 5:55, realised it was an ice rink at 5:56 and changed route and walked. Saw a lady out running at 6:50 coming back who asked me why I wasn't running - told her there was black ice everywhere but she still kept running bless her, hope she didn't come a cropper. Later on did a couple of miles in a loop but still a bit iffy. Bit of grief in right angle so wasn't going to push it. Watched Minder on Five with Rik Mayall on it - mildly entertaining it was.
Tuesday 10th Feb
Five miler early in morning - slow but it's the miles that counts!
Monday 9th Feb 09
Icy in morning so made right decision and did a three mile walk to fetch papers. Did an hour in gym before coming home from work - 20mins bike, 20mins rower, 20mins treadmill on hilly in that order - good workout for me that.
Sunday 8th Feb 09
Did nothing more than a 2 mile walk up town and back with Lucy to get some stuff from Sainsbobs. There was no rugby so thought a lil iddy biddy walk would do her good.

Week - Sunday 1st Nov to Saturday 8th Nov 08
Saturday 8th Nov
Yesterday was a damned nightmare. Stress city start to finish but it's done now. Saturday is a new day. Big Company do down in Birmingham later, got another 6.5miler done this morning. No idea of time after losing the edge earlier in the week but in a way that matters not a jot. I've got to run 26 miles and 385 yards next April so the speed is no longer the issue any more, staying power and endurance is wat I've got to start working towards. Kathryn my marathon guru is going to give me a training plan soon. If she don't soon I'll be getting one from t'internet!
Friday 7th The Weight Stays the Same
Had a weigh-in at Nics lil group on Wednesday weight and weight was down at 15st 2.5lbs which I was surprised and pleased about. Today it's 15st 4lbs which is same as last week and a bit rubbish. However, I drank a fair bit last weekend so a maintain isn't the end of the world at this stage. Now the goal is to keep away from anything like beer! Work has been mega hectic this week and have not made the gym all week but am going to make an effort to get there today

Friday 7th November - British Steel
Not showing any British Steel today! 5:30 til now (6:05) it's been chucking it down with rain. Took some stuff to me car just in case it's only messing about rain but it's not, so at the moment running is off. In summer I could run in the light rain no problem but winter rain is just not worth it and I've not had a rest day for ages so will give the joints a break.
Have got some big, big news that involves London and April but am not sure I'm allowed to mention it yet, so forget you've even read London and April on a blog that mentions running a lot, okay?
If it's all done by 6:25 I can run up town and back to go get papers but otherwise it looks like I'm definitely going to be in the gym later today to get some cardio done. Thus far today it's just press-ups and what have you at home.
Thursday 6th November - Disaster Strikes!
Have lost my edge quite literally. Can't find the Garmin Edge GPS computer that has been tracking my runs/cycle rides for the past 14 months this morning. Still, did the 6.5 miles round Mappleton and back through Ashbourne - same route at Monday, set off at 5:53 got back a fraction after 7:00 so about normal pace.
Wednesday 5th November
Absolute rubbish run today. Edge played up for a start so it looks like I didn't start running until over a mile from home and then texted son at 6:30 to tell him to do something (which he didn't, the little toad) and forgot to restart the Edge so lost a load of distance there as well. Edge says run was rubbish pace wise and I'd have to agree am slower at minute cause me legs are knackered but not that damn slow! Anyway, day can only get better (please).

Tuesday 4th November
Did a five mile run this morning but the Edge played up again a bit so it looks like 4 and a half miles. Didn't get up til 5:50 so running too late for the six miler.

Monday 2nd November
Well, while watching the Derby v Forest Game yesterday, I partook of a beer or two which was bloomin silly, but hey-ho that's what I did. That's it for alcohol now uptil Xmas. Hopefully the weight will start dropping again here on in. Did six and a half miles this morning which is the regime now.

Sunday 1st November
Started off with an okay sort of a six mile run. Cold and drizzly which is what I'm blaming for my much reduced pace! Then went off to Chellaston with Lucy to play Melbourne Juniors at rugby. Damned cold again but Lucy got stuck in and had a good game so was nice to see.
Amazed at the Derby v Forest game on Sky. What was the ref on? High octane stuff and nice to see Lee Camp doing well. Why ever we let him go I don't know? Anyroad spilt milk and all that.

Running Again - third time in a week! Bad weigh-in third time in a row...
Went and got weighed after all - 15st 6lbs today - keeps going up and up.
Had three pints after the funeral on Wednesday (although boss cat says I had four, I'm sure it was three, wasn't driving and it was into October so pledge for no alcohol in September stood) but other than that felt had been pretty damn good over the week. Waistline is okay, still getting into 34" waist jeans and trous so what the hell is the weigh increase all about. Am running faster even with dodgy knee than this time last year - 5th November 07 was running 3.5 miles at a pace of 10mins 43secs per mile, this morning it was 9mins 34sec a mile, I know I've done faster but the point is that last year I was half a stone or more lighter and slower so something's wrong with them scales I reckon!
Not best pleased. Have told JohnH am buying him a beer up at the pub after letting him down at golf last week and intend to keep that commitment so not going to be 100% back on plan until tomorrow.
Am not harping on about the knee anymore I've decided, there's more important things in life. Saw a picture in yesterdays Times of a guy who'd had to have half his lower leg amputated following a roadside bomb detonating on him in Afghanistan. The point about picture was that he had running shoes on the prosthetic limb and was running. He'd have the right to moan about a dodgy knee where as when I do it, it's just whinging so ain't mentioning it no more. Bet I do, though, fool that I am.

Morning
Been out and done 3 miles or so again this morning. The edge is playing up more frequently but not bothered. Weight seems to be massively up this morning so may go gym rather than group at lunchtime. I'm doing 25 minute sessions on the rower and then have notched up the weights machines to 11 rather than the old 10 setting I used to do. I think when I first started I used to set them at 7 or 8 so it's all progressing the right way (apart from the weight!!). I'm still wearing 34" jeans / work trouser so that's all fine. Anyway, the new group's weighin is next Wednesday so will try and sort it out this weekend - bit daft doing two groups really.

Dentist Day
Week 59 weigh-in - another half pound off.
Not much but they all count, another half pound and then am back to a 4stone weight total weight loss. So must shift at least half a pound next week. Still have finished off the creme eggs this week so a loss after that ain't too shabby. The running's looking good as well this week, deffo improving. Have got a round of golf at the Belfry tomorrow that my brother bought me for my fortieth. My golf has been terrible these past few months so hopefully it's going to turn as well as the weight trend has!!!

Survived the dentists. No fillings but hygenist made up in the pain department bless her. She's an ex W**ght W**chers leader so that might have something to do with it! No she's nice as pie really not standard WW material. The hygenist's assistant lost 3.5 stone on Slimming World though so things balanced up nicely. Both commented on weight loss which was nice.
Thursday's run, not as fast as yesterday but acceptable and well under 9 min miles

Motionbased screenshot of yesterday evening's short ride on the Giant FCR1, average of 15.4mph not bad when you consider that I stopped at Cattlegrids, stopped to take a call from Janette, stopped to take pics of another pothole to report.
Got a visit to dentists this afternoon, not looking forward to that.
BP 128/85/53 better. 18 DAFT

Current mood - not as hacked off as was first thing
Was really hacked first thing when weighed at bang on 15 stone, however by group at lunchtime was down to 14st 12lbs which is much better. Am aiming for another pound off for next week then total loss returns 4st. Have not been 100% following the plan this week so pound and a half is okay.

12 DAFT (days alcohol free todays) - last drink Easter Monday, will be 19 days DAFT this time next week and about a fifth of my way to 100 days DAFT.
Been on scales and half a pound up on weigh day when I've been down all week up to this point. I'm as fit as I've ever been but am not good enough to get the weight shifting the right way, all the medical results were very good even blood pressure but am so p**sed off about being stuck in the 15stone range. Doing my head in.
Ran five miles steady this morning in 47mins 24sec, total record for week is below, five miles every day and a bit more on Mondays.

V Day / Weigh Day
Week 51 – 2.5lb loss – Back to 4st total loss
The return to exercise and the stopping of feeling sorry for myself has reaped some rewards this week with a - 2.5lb loss from last week. Back to a total weight loss of 4 stones in 51 weeks. It’d be really good to lose another half pound or more next week so that I’d have a total loss of over four stone in a year. That’d be good, am dead pleased to be losing again though rather than these rotten little gains of the last few weeks.

Nice to see a bit of daylight under the fifteen stone line (210lbs)
Velo City
Was reading an article by James Daley who does a cycling column for the Independent. The article was mainly about Ken Livingston’s plans for investing in infrastructure to improve cycling in London and get more people onto two wheels, which is sensible stuff in my biased opinion. He’s talking about putting in a dozen cycling corridors to speed up access for cyclists into the heart of London which again sounds great but how will he do it??
The article makes reference to something called Velo City which is an enclosed, raised off the ground tubular cycle-way. Each tube only goes in one direction and the resulting airflow from cyclists all heading in the same direction gives a natural tail-wind making it more efficient. Am not sure if it’s a goer as yet but the architect of the idea a chap called Chris Hardwick has presented the idea for the city of Toronto in his role as local architect.
It’d cost an absolute fortune but what a cool idea…

I like the idea of cycling in clear tubes, shielded from the elements with a tail wind regardless of where you were going! That's the future for sure!!!

7am
All things looking good today. B.P. 116/84 for starters. Ran a couple of unrecorded miles last night to nephew Ben's and back to sort out his Tiscali Broadband - just for reference Tiscali's Tech support from my experience is absolute cak - queued for ages then the bloke says oh the server down, try again tomorrow. In actual fact there was nothing wrong with the problem we had - namely Ben's username and password not being correct but somehow we got the internet connection working by going straight into the router. So all's well I suppose but don't expect great things from out-sourced Tech Support on the indian sub-continent would be my advice.
This morning did a good 3.5 miles as was a bit late setting off at a nice steady 6.1mph (9:53/mile) pace - getting okay at this running mullarkey! Exact specs were 3.57miles in 35:21 which is okay in my book.

It's Thursday - current mood : all excited
Week 47 Weigh-In - a small loss.
Only a measly pound lost but at least it's lost, I suppose. Total loss therefore is a pound under four stone. BMI is 26.41 so still a long way of being fit according the the body mass index mullarky. Oh well, keep boring on.

New Bike for a new day!!

New Bike for a new day!!
Have taken clips off pedals so they're now ok - still looking out for some clipless ones on the bay but these will do for time being. Then I took lights off 'slow but comfy bike' and moved em across to new one. Got out on road a bit after 6 and took it nice and steady to get a feel for her. Seat needs to come up about half an inch I reckon. Averaged a smidge under 15mph avg but that included a whopping hill climb (goes off scale - see below) and had to stop at two sets of lights. Why is it you always know they'll change to red even from half a mile away...

Motionbased link GoogleMap link
Wahey got up at 5am but not in a rush to exercise this morning, am taking the clips off pedals on the FCR1 and going to see if it's dry out. If it is then might nick lights off Slow but Comfy and then take it for a spin!!
B.P. 133/89/58 - not good - am putting it down to being excited and all!

No more booze for me! Weigh-in 44
No more booze - not never!!
Managed to get meself absolutely anihalated on the booze yesterday (hacked off that Liverpool managed to steal points away from us - particularly if Gerrard handballed prior to the goal) but made the mistake of not eating anything to go with it. Consequently was up till the small hours with chronic stomach cramps. So that's the end of the booze run for me - am getting back on the plan and back on the diet coke!
Managed a bit of a cycle this morning. Was testing my new bike lights out and they're darned bright if a bit heavy (sealed lead acid sort of thing).
Week 44 Weigh-in
Weighed in this week with a gain of 2.5lbs but am not overly surprised at that. All the alcohol, over-eating, chocolate and general lack of control means that it was almost inevitable. Anyway am 14st 11lbs which is down on a few weeks ago but is not what I want. Am going to go hard at it in the new year. Am going to do my big review post in a few days and set some new goals for 2008 as well. We'll see how committed I am then!! Just for reference total loss from starting point in February is currently bang on 4st - I never got to 4.5stone loss (got within half a pound) so in a way I'm not far off track, 6.5lbs off my best this year.

Gym Session
Didn't really want to go to gym deep down inside! However, forced meself to go and quite enjoyed it once I got going. Had to cop out after 2km on the treadmill - think I had the speed on too fast. Did solid 2.5km on rower which was jolly good in 10:39.9 but made myself do extra weights to make up for the rubbish running. Did 4 reps of 10 on the bicep curl and triceps pushdown. Am not really into weights so that should teach me a lesson!!

200807 Better Than Expected
Just had a quick check on the scales at work - 14st 9.5lbs. So have only put three pounds on, I think.
Will have a look later and see what it does, got up at 5:30 this morning and walked/ran for and hour and a quarter. Made a bit of a cockup in the planning department due to not doing much walking as prefer to cycle given choice I found I was a good mile and half from home with only fifteen minutes left of exercise time so had to run the last bit. I put the route into Bikeroutetoaster.com to see how far it was - it came out walked at 7.58 kilometers or 4.71 miles which in an hour and ten minutes is not too bad

Route put together using http://www.bikeroutetoaster.com/
Am going to check out FrankKinlan's tutorial on doing courses later this week am still getting my head round the software.
Coming home update - had a quick weigh before I came out - weight down to 14st 8lbs so now the damage is about a pound and a half! Am unbelievably pleased! In a week or so I'll be back to where I was pre-hols which is grand!

Week 22 Weight Stats from 26/07/07 Weighin
Have decided to do a summary of journey so far rather than just a week's worth. Reason for this is that I'm now posting a lot more (biking seems to be a hot topic of late!), so it's hard to see the progress, hence this change to the format! Have managed to hang on in and maintain this week which has been good for all the reasons I've mentioned before!!

Weigh-in Result - Managed to maintain
It says something about Food Optimising that I've been able to maintain 14st 7lbs and survive my two kid's birthdays in as many weeks with the inherent cake issues that brings in. My consultant C told me "The most under-recognised achievement in slimming is maintaining" and by crikey, is she right? (yes she is!). Have had a right old time of late with one thing and another and I totally expected a gain this week so to stay the same actually feels grrrrrreat.
Will update with stats and stuff in due course. July has been really slow for me weight-loss-wise but it's coincided with stopping smoking so am not totally disappointed really. The good news is I'm alright in my head now, have not had a beer for three weeks (as of tomorrow) and am going to keep dry this weekend so I'll have done a solid four weeks before I jet off to Spain.

Cycling for Weight Loss
One of the key things in losing over 4 stone for me has been a commitment to exercise. I’ve always played golf (although the way I’m playing now you’d think I’d started a week ago) so there was always some exercise in my lifestyle but adding the cycling has really turned out to be an enjoyable and effective way to accelerate my weight loss. Here’s my tips for anyone wanting to get into Cycling for weight loss.
1). This is IMPORTANT! Exercise on it’s own won’t do it !!– diet and exercise go together, balance them and get great results. In Slimming World groups they call the exercise component “Body Magic” see http://www.slimming-world.com/ for more info. There's bags of other info out there but SW has really worked for me (am I becoming a Slimming World evangelist d'ya recokon?) so I wholeheartedly (sincerely) recommend it - it's easy, healthy and realistic - no daft drugs, tablets just common-sense food advice and brilliant support.
2). Set yourself a realistic goal – I aim for 100 miles every week. I’d really love to do 120+ but I haven’t got the free time available to do it. That 100 miles takes me the best part of 8 hours a week I think which is managed in 40minsto an hour trips which are enough not to get too tired on.
3). Get yourself a bike computer – there’s no better way to record your stats! I’d recommend recording total weekly distance and average speed (so the cheapest Ebay speedo will do the trick!).
4). Monitor progress – it’s rewarding to see how your average speed increases as you lose weight and build up muscle tone.
5). Get a GELSEAT, particularly at the start! I'm told cycling shorts are a good idea for the same reason - posterior protection. I've only just got round to getting cycling shorts purely from an embarassment "does my bum look big in this" factor.
6). Consider changing tyres? If you’re always riding on the road (my favourite) then you don’t want nobbly mountain bike tyres (even if you’re on a mountain bike). I swapped from MTB to some slicks that I got off Ebay and it’s just much easier to get up hills, which is great cause I hate hills
5). Back to the how to fit it in - I do two runs most days - when I get up (about 6am) , pick up newspapers on the way back in and the second run is usually after kids have gone to bed so some time after 8pm. If you're serious you'll make time for it - the target of 100miles helps on Friday I'm already at 75 miles so another four runs out will do it!
6). I got an Ipod from my boss at Xmas which is great - they can help when you're getting bored with the same track but you have to be careful with the volume as it might mean you don't hear a dirty great big truck approaching from behind!
That’s it for now.

Weighed in this evening at 14st 7lbs, lightest I've been in 25 years plus. This is a 2lb loss over last week (but had put a lb on last week so really it's a lb loss on a fortnight ago). Not to worry it's progress in the right direction.

Favourite Slimming World Snack
My favourite snack is the common or garden eating apple. Specifically “Golden Delicious” apples which I find to be both sweet and satisfying. Best of all they’re a Slimming World free food and any Slimming World Consultant will tell a member that you should “Fill your Face on Free Foods” (the four Fs!!). But more than that they’re good for you too! The phrase “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” comes with more than a bit of good science behind it. I found this on the “Good Foods Glossary” at
http://www.thirdage.com/cgibin/glosdb.cgi?glos_name=goodfoods&action=view&term_name=Apples
According to that page it says apples do the following:
Lower blood cholesterol levels
Treat constipation and diarrhea
Help control diabetes
Strengthen immune system
May lower risk of heart disease
May help prevent cancer
And it’s my favourite snack – how cool is that??

16-07-07 Group moved back to Thursday
Weigh in is going to be Thursday after all which is good for my stats. Found an interesting US-Based site called myfatsecret.com which I kind of wish I'd found in February but ho-hum, such is life. It's like a community for dieters and looks to have a lot of supportive content. Very good.
Anyway, am considering my weight to be 14st 7lbs (203lbs/92.16kg) at the minute so that;s okay BMI still in the 26 range so still a bit of work to do.

16-07-07 Virtuous Weekend pays off - 14st 7lbs on Monday morning.
Good news and stuff – got into work, had a quick weigh 14st 7lbs – well pleased (it will go down by time of proper weigh-in tonight and should be well-down by Thursday). Feel like I’m back on track and can still do it! Stuck to the actions pretty much over the weekend (didn't explode the biscuit barrel, but then again didn't buy any biscuits either) - zero alcohol, stuck to Slimming World’s healthy extras for cereals, checked out Slimming World's website (http://www.slimming-world.com/) for a bit of inspiration. Not only that but my Slimming World consultant emailed me with a whopping list of things to try and a lot of reassurance - couldn't see the wood for the trees a bit last week so that helped tremendously!
Not only, but also – got up a bit late this morning (5:45) so was late on my bike ride and only clocked up 8.5miles – however, because I was late I whizzed those 8.5 miles at 13.6mph average – over a 1mph faster than last weeks overall average so well chuffed indeed.

Calm down, Calm down
Was getting a bit too sorry for myself yesterday (well all week really), however there was one good thing that came out of the last post and that was setting some actions to sort things out. I said no alcohol this weekend and went to the pub last night and nursed a beautifully alcohol-free diet coke - wierd night too - no ashtrays on the tables, me mate John nipping out in the rain for smoke - good of the government to give smokers a choice wasn't it? Not that I'm a smoker at present - 13 days gone and no cigarrettes so far, so good, so what as they say...
Anyhoo, that was one action I set which has been good for one day so far (it is only Saturday after all), another was to only go for Healthy Extra cereals rather than any old cereal and I said I'd avoid my current fave which is Aldi's version of Special K they call Benefit. Well here's a picture of Saturday morning's breakfast - called (in our household at least) 'Yogurt Surprise" - essentially it is two weetabix (Aldi variant 79p for 24 biscuits) on a bed of 'Aldi Optifit Yogurt with wheatgrains' topped off with a chopped banana also residing on a bed of Yogurt. Not also black coffee - gave up white coffee back in february and don't miss it at all, in fact white coffee now tastes horrendous.
This means that breakfast was pretty much syn-free - weetabix is Healthy B choice, yogurt is free, banana free. A good start - I got the focus back and I've not even put the 'stop smoking' nicquitin patch on yet.
Didn't really do lunch as such as was golfing at 12:20, just did the fruit thing going round. Over the day I had five apples and three bananas.
For dinner it was breaded cod and syn-free chips with mushy peas so that's where the syns will come from (will try and find out what the syns total would be but I don't expect it to be too high). Pudding was yogurt surprise as you'd expect!!!

12-07-2007 Week 21 Weigh-In – Disaster Strikes – 1lb Gain - Aaaagh

Disaster has struck on two fronts: Wednesday night I dropped my googles4u.com rimless glasses and broke them like a fool. More importantly and definitely more worryingly is that yesterday's weigh in revealed I’d put a pound on this week.
I could say “it’s okay – it’s first time it’s happened in 21 weeks of steady losses”, however, the truth is I’m gutted and worried at the same time. I know I’ve only been food optimising 70% for the past few weeks and I reckon I’ve become blasé about it and now I can’t sustain the weight loss. I had five pints of lovely Stella Artois last weekend at my cousin’s wedding so I could blame it on that but the truth is I’m not on track diet-wise. I’m certainly fine on the exercise front getting an hour to an hour and a half every day but the food has gone to hell of late and needs looking at carefully.
On the positive side I’ve not had a ciggy for 11 days now which is a good thing! The downside of not smoking seems to be a sudden hunger which is taking some dealing with – didn’t have this at all for the first twenty weeks which I smoked through all the way so need to look at the danger areas and work through it!
Immediate actions:-
1. Zero alcohol this weekend
2. Minimise bread
3. Explode the biscuit barrel.
4. Only Slimming World Healthy Extra Cereals not Aldi Benefit no matter how gorgeous and Special K-like.

Week 20 Weigh-In– 05-07-07 – 1.5lbs loss – slowing down but 4st 3lbs gone
Comparatively pleased this week. Me and the bride went out Saturday night for a meal to celebrate 16th Wedding Anniversary (how old am I??!!) and I took the opportunity to have fillet steak with real chips, sticky toffee pudding and wait for it…. 4 pints of delicious Stella Artois. I felt absolutely hammered but to still lose weight after that lot is testament to the power of Slimming World’s food optimizing. Put that on top of the fact that I’ve not had a ciggy in four days, my bike is going like hell with the new tyres and I have a whole bunch of reasons to be happy!!!

28-06-07 - Food Diary (sort of)
Food Diary 28-06-07
Thought I’d have a go at a proper Slimming World Food Diary. In all the time I’ve been on Food Optimising this is the first time I’ve had a crack at one so please forgive any errors. Food Optimising and Body Magic (SW term for Exercise) has been working fantastically for me so I’ve not seen the point in doing one. The changes I’ve made are now becoming habit so I’m able to deal with temptations pretty well and manage the danger zones through subtle planning. Only real dange is driving home from work where the weapon of choice used to be chocolate or crisps – none of that now but a couple of apples sat on the passenger seat waiting to rescue. Pub was the other danger area now manage that situation using very expensive diet coke (do all pub landlords take the p**s with soft drink prices or just mine - £2.60 for a pint of diet coke - I bet he wonders why I don't go in as much) Total alcohol units since February are 12 units!
Breakfast 5:50am
Weetabix (1 Healthy B Choice) covered in Muesli Optifit Yogurt with WholeGrains topped off with 1 sliced banana (a culinary masterpiece invented by moi). Synfree as far as I’m aware.
Off for a 7 mile bike-ride
Fruit Count during the day:
11111 Apples
111 Banana s
Lunch: 13:00
Strawberry Optifit Yogurt with Wholegrains (and fruit of course)
Tea: 18:30
2 x sausage* and bacon*2 sandwiches on wholemeal with syn-free chips*3.
*1 Morrisons Low Fat sausage,
*2 bacon with all visible fat trimmed off.,
*3 Syn-free chips are a Slimming World legend, made with the one-calorie spray-lite they arre much healthier than deep-fried chips and much tastier than over-chips. I have them most nights cause they’re bloomin magic. For more info see: http://www.slimmingworld.com/healthy_eating/recipe_chips.asp
+ gallons of black coffee and a couple of diet cokes (at supermarket prices!!).
