Up early - another rotten frost - thought it was supposed to be coming on milder.  Never mind, dog walked, papers fetched by 7.30. Into the office for 8am straight into it.  Loads to do.   Good day in the office, nipped to Aldi to get more fruit for the boss.  Back home for 6.30. Tea. dog walk.  Web work.  Bed

Up at 5.30, woke about 4am.  Most odd.  Listening for a lorry driver who pips his air-horn at silly o'clock I think.  Heard it yesterday. Papers fetched and back home for 6.25!  All good. Into the office before 8am. Tea. Walk. Webwork. Walk. Bed

Early. Dog walk. Papers. Breko. Office for 8am.  Busy day.  Group after work.  Stayed same - happy with that!  Home. Tea. Dog Walk. Rush to Buxton Opera House - Count Arthur Strong.  A bit odd.

Friday 13th March 2015
Lie-in - didn't get up until 5.55am!  Absolutely hammering it down with rain.  Parked in leisure centre, dog in coat, brolly up, waterproof on and then found out I'd got a hole in my right foot trainer - marvellous.  Anyway into the office for a bit after 8am which was acceptable. Trip to Aldi to get fruit for the boss and booze for mesen!

Saturday 14th March 2015
Up early.  Dog walked, papers fetched.   7 mile bike ride - bit nippy so it was. Planting in me greenhouse.  Lettuces, minibell tomatos (9 seeds - tightwads at Wilcos), missus' hanging basket.   Did some shifting round in the heated propogator.  Fixed the little fence at side of lawn.  Everything going good - felt like should have been golfing but went to lotty instead and did some digging and some carting of stinky rotten weeds down to the recycling centre - took em all way in wheelbarrow rather than risk them making me car stink.  No big deal.

ngland vs Scotland on telly when got home so that was good.  Loads of dog walks.  All good stuff.

Woke up before 4am.  Got up at 5.40.  Took Pooch to get papers.  Top dog, crawled along to paper shop and sprinted back when we left.   Work before 8am.  Busy old sort of a day.  Got some more bits from Aldi for missus.  Home for 6.30ish. Bed for 10pm

Found out I'd missed some Doctor's appointments like an idiot so re-arranged Diabetes clinic for today and left office shortly after lunch.  Blood pressure is a bit raised which is probably due to putting a stone on since stopping running.  Need to get my act together.  Got home from Doctors and did a couple of hours of work.  Planted some dwarf french runner beans (Ferrari) and some tomato seeds (plum rosa) I think in the heated incubator.   Dog walk.

Up early. Nothing to eat as got fasting blood test at 8.40am   Found out I could have had black coffee. Such is life.  Into the office for not long after 10am.  A lot to do today. Home for about 6.30.  Tea. Dog Walk.  Load of work done.  Love the ambiguity of this take on the weazel and woodpecker image.

Overslept.  Didn't get up until 6.02!   This can happen when you're not using an alarm  clock.  Dog walked, papers fetched and back home by 6/45.  Into the office by 8am.

Saturday 7th March 2015
Up early, dog walked, papers fetched.  Piccy B brekko. Bit of gardening, another walk for pooch then off to the match.  Got on the Derby Swift bus at about 11.20 into Derby a bit after 12 and first pint in the Alexandria with Mr Fowkes at 12.15 all good stuff.  Had a few sherberts, a tasty burger and then watched Derby  give it away in injury time.

Up early.  Big dog walk through the meadow.  Did some web work.  Out in the garden.  More dog walks.  Doveleys garden centre in the afternoon - got 4 x 56litre garden compost for a tenner thought that wasn't too bad.   Watched an amazing program on Owls and bed early for 9pm!

Up early.  dog walked, papers fetched, into the office for 8am.  busy, busy day.  Home for 6.15pm.  Tea. dog walked.  Some web work.  Took picture of me autovent mechanisms which have to fit for Greenhouse.  Watched House of Fools episode 1 then waited until 10pm to watch episode 2.  Bed for 10:34.

Tuesday 24th February 2015
Woke about 4am, upstaits loo door knocking as window wide open.  Sorted it, back to bed.  Couldn't get back to sleep but stopped in bed until 5.40 as it was chucking it down at 4am and blowing a hooley.   By time I took the dog up town it had calmed down and rain had stopped.  Brekko and then off to work.  In a bit later at 8.15 as I took a heater over to the primary school across the road as their heating had gone kaput. Got home about 6.20.  Tea. Dog Walk. Bit of web work.  Watching sports report to see how Derby doing 2-0 against Charlton - that'll do nicely.

Wednesday 25th February 2015
Up at 4:01 again, out of bed at 5:30.  Dog walk, papers fetched.  Did a few jobs.  Moved strawberries out of the little coldframe and into the greenhouse - that's what it's for after all.   Got to work for 8.15am all good.

Did a bit of golf evaluation and totted up all the golf I'd done at Ashbourne.  It equated to 276 holes which came to just under 15 full rounds and so cost me £35 a round.  Funny year though last year - Grindleford Gallop, London Marathon, Painting Phil's bedroom in a hurry, lot of rain, Lucy football. Am almost tempted to do the Lifestyle golf after all.

Up in the attic to get the heated propogator down.  Cleaned it all up - will put everything in bags next year - you see if I don't! Web work.  Dog walk. Telly. Bed

Up a bit late at 5:45am, can't be helped.  Dog walked, forgot money so didn't get papers.   Back up town when bosskat up and fetched em.  Started the heated propogator up.  Did the missus' prezzies while she was at the Shoulder at Osmaston for an Aztecs do.  All good stuff!

Saturday 28th February 2015
Up early.  dog walked, papers fetched. Missus opens presents, think have done reasonably well (you can never be sure!!!).  Fetched Piccy B as usual(ish).

Got some garden peas and some sweet peas in the propogator.  Also put some sweet peas in the greenhouse.  Got me max/min thermometer up as well!

10.30am Football with Lucy and the boss.  Took pooch to the old Sawmill on Shirley Bridleway.

Lucy's team lost 5-2 but the two goals were crackers from well-delivered corners.  Really impressive.

Back home for lunchtime, golf with John at 1:30pm - last round as a member.  Was happy to finish after nine holes - fallen out of love with the old golfing mullarky.  Never mind.

Cripes how can it be 1st March 2015?    Never mind.  Up early, dog walked.  Down the lotty, chopped down the raspberries which you're suppose to do in February really.  Put me home-made clock up in the shed so no excuse for not knowing what time it is.  Did a load of tidying up. Waterbutts are almost full.  Picked up a load of bigger pots that had been left at the free/unwanted junk table.

  

Tinkered with Water butt on the greenhouse - am still not really happy with it.

Late lunch (3pm) at the Ketch jolly good, then back to ours.  Gave me dad a tour of the greenhouse.

Kept waking up all night so no problem getting out of bed for 5.50.  Dog walked in the rain and papers fetched.  Into the office for 7.50am.  Everything running like clockwork.

Tuesday 17th February 2015
Am off work today as it's Shrovetide Football in sunny Ashbourne.  Up early. Papers. Dog Walked. Fetched a piccy B brekkie.  Walk from Mappleton up to Thorpe with a very dirty pooch.

 In afternoon Phil decided he wasn't going to Shrovetide and missus had gone to Derby so got the greenhouse up.

Wednesday 18th Feb 2015
Up early. Papers etc.  Golf at 9am - did 16 holes I think and lost - managed a few pars but with my 15 handicap vs their bandido handicaps I'd no chance - John had 8 points on two holes for two pars - can't live with that.

Got home for about 1pm - ferried missus and kids up to Shrovetide then got home and got cleaning glass on me Greenhuse - get a load of that!

About 9 o'clock at night we had a call from Sylvira to say the Shrovetide ball was on it's way to Clifton so went to watch - didn't see anything other than crazy folks running about like crazy folks - talk about wierd - strangely exciting too.   Bed about 10pm.

Up early, dog walked, papers fetched.  Did a load of setting up in me Greenhouse.  Played golf with Doug at 2pm - played steady, birdie two on the 6th.  Got a load of cardboard taken to the recycling centre and other junk from Phil's bedroom tidy up - he's going all business-like so he is!  Forgot to mention Baxi Boiler broke down.  Had plumber out he couldn't fix it, he advised calling Baxi so another £300 paid over phone and they're coming tomorrow to do it.

Up at 5.15am.  Dog walked,  papers fetched.  Everyone up early, on road for London about 6:30am.   Bit of jip on M1 that we needed to divert around but basically got to Stanmore around 10:30am  after a stop on the way in.  Tube to Green Park then switched over to get to Leicester Square so boss kat could get tickets to Mamma Mia for her and Lucy (top dollar as well, such is life - an expensive weekend and no mistake!!

Anyroad, had lunch and a pint or two at Yates on Leicester Square and then I took them to the theatre and headed off to the Brittania Hotel in Canary Wharf with the bag.

Got checked in, watched Doc Martin - made sure didn't go to sleep.  Had a wee drink or two then back to the Novello Theatre to collect the missus.  I didn't mention that I did the stairs at Covent Garden - all 193 of them (I think it said it's the equivalent of 15 floors!

Woke up very early but stopped in bed.  Breakfast at 8:30 - very nice although don't like me scrambled egg quite that runny thank you very much - bosskat liked it though.  We all had a shower and got packed up and then left baggage with the concierge and headed off to Tower of London which was great.  We paid with Tesco Vouchers so instead of it costing £50 quid it cost us about £12.50 I think.  We were early enough to see Crown Jewels before it got too busy, we also saw the Royal Beast Exhibition, the ravens, the white tower, the tower where they put prisoners, and loads besides - wouldn't have wanted to spend £50 plus on it though.

   After the Tower we went back to the Hotel on the DLR (well Missus and Lucy went to some shops in the Canary Wharf Shopping Centre while I went to the hotel!).   Then we sat on the Jubilee Line all the way back to the car - what we should have done was come off at Bakerloo, got the Metropolitan line and then changed

Up at the crack.  Off up town with the dog, fetched papers.  Got a bit of grief from someone re. brand protection.  Some people's view of intellectual property theft is very wierd indeed.   Not a bad day in the office.  Back home for about 6.15 so quite a result.  Took wee dog for a walk.  Did a bit of work. All good. Tested out the new camping bed which will be cool as it will mean not having to worry about having air pump/inflatable if go camping in summer.

Woke at 4am, got out of bed at 5.30 on the dot.  Dog walked, papers fetched into the office at 7.55am.  Cancelled AA Breakdown cover - need to find out whether Phil wants cover too.

Up early after watching CAS the night before.  Dog walked. Papers fetched.  Ton of work in the office. Group after work.  Just 1lb off.  Back home.  Dog walked x 3 on the night.  Watched CAS again. Ace.  Did some work work, did a bit of not-work work.  Bed for a bit after 10pm.

CAS caught up on me and didn't get out of bed til 5.55.   Got Lily walked and papers fetched though so all good stuff.  Stopped at Aldi on way in so not at my desk til 8.20am. Still got the bride some bits and bobs for the inevitable quest for brownie points.

Friday 13th!!1  Anyway, got up early, took pooch a walk, got papers. Got into office early doors. Placed an order for some stuff for me greenhouse base.  All ticking a long nicely.  Steak night at the Ketch at 6.45 - marvellous stuff!

Valentines days - brownies points galore.  Say it with roses.

Nice bottle of Jim Beam off the missus too - she knows me so well!  Dog walk, papers fetched early doors.  Piccy B brekkie.  A load of work done.   All good.  Golfing at 1.30 - very average - hitting the driver all over the shop. Birdied the last though hitting the ball about three foot over the flag and it span back to 6".  Probably the nearest I'll ever get!

Sunday 15th February 2015
Up a bit before 7am.  Dog walking up golf course.  All good stuff.

When the lad finally got up we got started on finishing off the base for the greenhouse. All done by brunch time and then another dog walk.  Then a bike ride - just 7 miles again but getting me 'backside' used to it all over again.

Over to me mum and dad's for tea.  Got missus to drop me off at bottom of Broad Walk near the chippie and then took the pooch for a walk that I never did in all the years I lived in sunny Darley Dale - up to top of Broad walk and then through the woods to Hallmoor Road.

Bed early as was absolutely knackered.

Up at 5.25am - no alarm clock.  Dog walked, papers fetched etc.  Into office for just gone 8am. Much better day today managed to not upset anyone!  Bonus.  Got my online auction data extraction system sorted after the lowlifes changed their layout again.  Good stuff.   Home for about 6:30.  Horrific news about the Jordan pilot, hope the murderers get what they deserve and then some.   Didn't get much done - took pooch for two walks, watched Count Arthur Strong.  Class.  Tired as hell tomorrow no doubt.

Got up at 2.15am to check Phil back from milking.  He won't listen to ancient Siddall wisdom - "Anyone can work for nothing and take their own lunch".  If Grandad Siddall were still alive he could add "and then dump their laundry for their mum" to it, but the sentiment's the same.  Anyway, got up proper at 5:30 as usual (no alarm clock), dog walked, papers fetched, into the office for 8:30.  We've got Phil's mate coming at Shrovetide so I've ordered one of those folding camp beds that I've read good things about - we'll see!  Hollie's group after work to see how weigh worked and whether an error appeared or not.  Weighed in at 2.5lbs up back to post Xmas weight - booze stopping right now. Back home for about 6.45pm.  Tea. Dog walk.

Saturday 7th February 2015
Up early.  Dog walked, papersfetched.  Piccy B breakfast as usual.  Alvaston Park for football. Lucy's team scraped a 4-3 victory over Belper.  Got a bit exciting towards the end.  I took the opportunity to see how far a walk it would be to iPro stadium (or Pride Park as it is in my head). Not far at all is the answer which would come in handy later!    Dropped Janette and Lucy off at Pride Park at about 1.15 - was amazed at how many folks were turning up for the match that early.  I took pooch home and did a bit of digging on the greenhouse base.  Then as I couldn't get into the shed to get hold of a spirit level I took the pooch for a walk.  As Derby were 3-0 up shortly after half time I though the missus might want to come out of the match a bit early but as she wasn't sitting with Lucy she said she'd leave it until full time.  So I parked at Alvason Park for the second time that day and walked with Lily to meet them outside the ground.  Made a big mistake on the way back in not continuing along the A6/London Road I think and we had a few minutes of standstill on the way back but we back in Ashbourne for 6.15.

Up early.  Wellies on, walk with the pooch -very, very frosty which was to slow everything down in terms of getting the base done for the greenhouse.

Cold moon over the meadow.  

When Phil was up and ready we got on with doing the greenhouse base.  Not 100% sure whether it's level as the spirit level seems to give different results depending on which way it's facing.  Nightmare.  I think it's there or thereabouts though and if not we'll tweak it with wedges probably.

Carried on with it till it got dark - fetched wheelbarrow from allotment and got all the soil redistributed and all the sand into the frame although we only got the first four slabs down - twelve to go.

Pooch made me laugh - Phil had a nap on sofa and left all the cushions piled up at one end so wee hound took advantage and climbed onto the cushion throne - proper swab dog!

Bosskat had to get up early to get school off early as they have parent's afternoon today.  So waking up all night to check the time (but didn't set the alarm as I'm trying to develop Jack Reacher-like internal clock accuracy).  Got up at 5.35, dog walked and papers fetched.  Getting stuff ready for tomorrow as might cycle in depending on the weather.  Into the office for 8am.  Busy, busy day ruffling the feathers of folks who think it's okay to use our trademarks to fill their pockets - well that ain't on matey, that ain't happening.  Nasty piece of work,me, oh yes.  Anyroad, busy day, back home a bit after 6pm.   Tea, dog walk. Bit of true detective, bit of Game of Thrones.  Ace.  Bed.

Didn't get up til after 6am which buggered up plans for cycling to work. Took dog up town, no papers in paper shop, marvellous, back for 6.45 - porridge and off to work.  As we'd got someone doing photos today I thought I'd got and plant the bike in the bike shed! Subterfuge and special ops - got me wanting to get out on the bike again, though.  So went out for a spin on t'bike when got home.  Only 7 miles so not too bad for a start over.  Hopefully get out again before end of week

Got up at  6:45!!! Yikes that;s late, dog walked paper fetched, brekkie on the go.  Into the office for 8.45 so pleased with that after much 20mph driving and arsefaces pulling out on me and then driving 5mph slower than I was going.  Tosspots.

Up earlyish.  Dog walked, paper fetched.  Piccy B.  No golf as course closed.  Lots of work on the computer instead.  Good stuff.  Took pooch a good walk along the river and found a new way back before you get to Sides Mill Farm.

Pooch filfthy when we go back so she had a shower and shampoo - she hates that.  All good stuff, bed earlyish.  Phil gone out boozing with his mates in Derby.

Sunday 1st February 2015
Phil back in at 3.30am.  Hickuping like a misfiring ending at 4am, talking into the big white telephon at 4.45am.   Great start to the day.  Up at 7.30am.  Took Lily on a new walk.  Parking at the cemetery and then walking in big loop - the main aim is to keep her clean for as long as possible!!

Anyroad up, main aim of the day is to get the base dug out for the greenhouse, am itching to get busy with it. So marked it out first using cunningly placed solar lights for markers.

Then set out to dig off all the turf which I've put round the back in the main to sort of level out the bit of grass on the back that is a pig to mow in summers.  Hopefully it will help a wee bit.  Have kept a little bit of turf back just in case.

Have a cunning plan for how to get the cement / concrete base in bang on level.  So that's next weekend's job unless the wee lad lends a hand which he didn't seemed inclined to yesterday, bless.

Took missus for a quick shopping session in the afternoon and then took pooch a last walk up the golf course before it went dark.

Awake super early.  Went down fishing at 6:30 - starry, starry night.  Not as cold as expected.  Caught nowt, missed the one bit I had.  Packed up.  Bacon buttie and hit the road by about 10:25 home before 2pm even with sitting on the M56 for 20 minutes while a crash was cleared out of the fast lane.  Got home.  Took dog for a three mile round trip on a new walk I recently discovered.   Fell asleep on sofa so decided to go bed at 9.20!

Woke up at 4am.  Got up at 5:30am.  Dog walked, papers fetched.  Aldi for 8am.  In office for 8:30am. Back home for about 6pm. Had tea. Took dog a walk,  Watched a bit of telly including Count Arthur which was most excellent.  Did a bit of work on a current project.

Woke up before 5am, got up at 5:30.  Took dog a walk and fetched papers - snow not too bad but set off for work before 7am, in the office for just after 7:30.  No snow at all in Derby - quite bizarre.  Busy day. Group after work - 1lb off which is a small victory after all the excess of the the boozy weekend.

Up at 5am to make sure Phil got off to LAMMA at Peterborough. Back to bed for a bit then up at 5.40.   Dog walked, papers fetched. Missus is relief care-taking so got Lucy up and off to school.  Still in office for 8:30.   All good stuff.

An other full on day.  Up early. Dog walk, papers.  Brekko, work, meeting with DR.  Aldi on way home - flamin manic that shop is.  Back home for about 6.45.  Tea. Dog walk. Telly. Dog Walk. Watched some of Cambridge vs Man Utd - not bad game at all and pay day for Cambridge on the replay!

Up at 7am!!!!  Lie in at last!   Took pooch to get papers.  Went up town to piccy B to get brekko for everyone.  Got seed potatoes chitting!  This year trying the following first earlies - Home Guard (in honour of Captain Mainwaring obviously), Swift - as they sound nippy, and Casa Blanca (an oblique reference to the West Wing), for second earlies am going to try Maris Peers - we shall see.

Golf with JH at 1pm.   Started off slow then played last six holes in level par with a spawny birdie on the 7th. Ended up with a decent enough 21points.   Got home.  Got trimming the lilac tree so there will be more light for the greenhouse.  Going to work well I reckon.  Need to get it all took down the recycling tomorrow.

Up at 8am!!!  Blimey.  Walked round the meadow with the daft dog.  Got all the tree bits broken down to manageable size and then taken down to the Recycling.  11am walk was along towards Sides Mill and then round the foresty commission bit on top of the old tip.   Beautfiul day.

Got back and on with the job. First of all emptied the metre sqaured planter thing then shifted all the 45cm x 45cm slabs off the bit where the Greenhouse is going and stacked them where the meter squared was.  All good stuff. Showered and ready for a late lunch at the Shant with ma and pa.  Very nice.  Back home and more walks and then getting stuff ready for work - watched a couple of True Detectives as there's nothing on telly to touch it!

Woke about 4am, didn't get up til 5:30 though - 4am is way too early unless you're fetching someone from Heathrow in my opinion.  Wind woke me in all fairness making the double glazing whistle again. What a pain.  Anyway, fetched papers with the wee dog who had a good bark at the old fella in the newsagent as she's prone to do (funny dog).   Got home, shaved, showered.  Porridge for breakfast and on the road to Darley Dale to pick up a computer desk.  Into the office for 8am, all good.  Funny day in the office - so much brand protection stuff going through at the minute. Anyway, today was a reet good day because I got my tax return submitted and paid off George Osborne so he can p*ss it up a wall in the house of commons bar no doubt.  So that's a good thing.  Continued with the new way of taking the pooch a walk before tea so she's not mithering which was also very good.  Bed at 10.30 after watching a bit more scandal.

Tuesday 13th January 2015
Woke up at bang on 5.31am.  Dog walked, papers fetched by 6.30.  Computer desk stashed in me shed by 7am.  Porridge for brekkie again - 2/3rds of a bowl of me and the rest for the wee dog who seems to absolutely love porridge, bless her. Aldi by 8am, office by 8:30 - everything running on rails!!  Continued the new system of getting home, taking dog walk and then having tea.  No mithering from the pooch at tea-time is great!  Count Strong on the telly after watching a new ITV2 series called Cockroaches.  Bed after 11pm - will pay for that tomorrow, no doubt.

Wednesday 14th January 2015
Woke at just gone 5am, up at 5:36, dog walked and back home with papers by 6.20am!   Cool.  Shave, shower, porridge again - wee dog getting two big spoons worth and loving it.  Into office for about 8am.  Nippy but no sign of the promised snow overnight - rubbishy weather forecasters! Interesting day - quite a few meetings, loads of brand protection work.  Group after work - 4.5lbs of the Xmas weight gain damage gone.  Will do for a start.  During the day I bought and installed a telly for Paddy as his old one (which wasn't all that old stopped working).  The only problem with it is that it won't fit on the old tv table properly.  Want to start running again really.  Watched more scandal. Bed for about 11.

Thursday 15th January 2015
Woke up with no alarm about 5'ish, out of bed for 5.34.  Dog walked, papers fetched.  Shared porridge with the hound and in the office a bit after 8am.  Not bad day.  Aldi after work to get me dad two pheasants - bizarrely I found that Aldi had two pheasant products and so got the missus to have a look at the last brochure to make sure I'd got the right thing - I hadn't initially.   Dropped them off at Darley Dale after making a cockup and not getting off A38 until Ripley!  Such is life.

Friday 16th January 2015
Woke at 4am.  Out of bed at 5.40, papers fetched, dog walked, breakfast and into work for 8.15 after loading some bits and bobs into the car in readiness for tomorrow. Got a load done, back home, a few medicinals, a few dog walks.

Saturday 17th January 2015
Up early, paper fetched,  Fetched piccy b for family then car loaded and off to Wales.

Settled in to the cottage.  Couldn't dig any bait - sand was way too hard and worms were down really deep but got bait from Valley Baits so ready for the night's fishing.  Saturday night fished brilliantly - codling, whiting, plaice - loads of bites.

Sunday 18th December 2015
Woke up at 5am as usual.  Went a walk about 8am.  Bit of toast for brekkie.  Trip out to do a reccy on a mark the other side of Wilfa power station - proper full on force 7 wind so didn't hang about long. Over to Amlwch got some bait for the evening session.  Which could only be described as chalk and cheese when compared to Saturday when we were getting bites pretty much all night,  Such is life.  Bed about 10pm.

Up at the crack of dawn (even though had set alarm clock was awake at 4am).  Took dog on a fairly long walk picking up the papers on the way back.  Into the office for 7:50.  All good stuff.


Tuesday 6th January 2015
Up early.  Dog walked.  Bumped into Jonny Bigland for the second day in a row.  Got papers, into the office for 8am.  Mad day doing tons of stuff on Brand Protection and special projects.  Looking at going to Wales soon.  Count Arthur Stong on telly at 10.35 - ace stuff.

Wednesday 7th January 2015
Didn't get up til 5:50 due to watching Count Arthur late at night!   Dog, walked. Papers fetched.  Facing the music at Group tonight.  Time to get back on the plan!  Went to group after work to face the music/scales.  8lbs on since 17/12/2014.  Mortified.   Definitely time to get back on plan.  2lbs heavier than I was in January 2014 (which also wasn't very clever).  Dog walking and working on a website for someone then bed about 10:30

Still going with no alarm and consequently didn't get up until five to six!   Wind blowing a hoolie at night though so perhaps to be expected.  Dog walked, papers fetched.  Porridge for breakfast into the office for 8am.  All good so far.

Friday 9th January 2015
Dog walked early.  Porridge for breakfast.  Office fairly early.  All good stuff.  Got home, new tactic is to take dog a walk as soon as I get in.  That way she doesn't mither me all through tea - worked well. Received bill from Golf Club, emailed and told 'em I wasn't renewing this time.

Saturday 10th January 2015
Up early.  Dog walked, papers fetched.  Few jobs in the house done.  Fetched piccy B. Golf at 1.03, got beat off full handicap but such is life.  Coffee in clubhouse.  Derby beat Ipswich 1-0 to go second in the league leapfrogging the tractor boys on the way.  All good stuff.  Took pooch a walk along old railway line in dark and she got spooked by something - very wierd.   Started watching Scandal on Sky Boxsets which has a lot of scenery from West Wing I reckon not to mention the chap who plays Will Bailey in West Wing for that matter.  It's not too bad.

Sunday 11th January 2015
Up early.  Mini dog walk first thing - wind blowing a hoolie again. Got 95% of my self-assessment tax return completed - just need to check a couple of things and can have that done by next week. Glad I registered to do them online last year or I'd be up sh*t creek without a paddle (well facing a £100 fine again, perhaps).  

Breakfast then a bit later on went a cracking walk with the pooch, very enjoyable - will plot it next time see how far round it was - probably a couple of miles I think.  Nice sunny day so went down the allotment - got the water off the shed rerouted to fill the water butts (the IBC is full to brim I think) and some other jobs done.   A few tinnies in the afternoon before going to me mum and dads for tea which was very nice, thank you very much.  Got home and bed early.
