Didn't sleep well, up at 2:30 back to bed, read a bit, nodded off at some point, got up at 7:30.
Over to Darley Dale to do some jobs. Dead tired. Went to Nag's Head for lunch for final time.
3 miles worth of golf. Good stuff, few pars and a birdie on 13th. http://connect.garmin.com/activity/159443806

Up super early 4:30 again. Did a load of work then out for a run at 6:15 after getting Phil up for work. Bit of a frost which was a slight shock to the system. Been getting used to the better weather.
Run http://connect.garmin.com/activity/159443816 Went out on the bike at night:

All ticking over well considering. Got everything loaded up and down to recycling center at 9am when it opened. Took Phil to hospital so they could look at his leg, they said it was change of washing powder but we're still convinced it's ringworm/tb/foot and mouth or something farm-related anyway, he's got a prescription and it seems to be clearing it up so maybe the doctor's right!
Golf at 12:30 got there about 12:20 and we set off early as whoever was in front had dropped out. Anyway set off very sweetly with two pars, then par on fourth, then a birdie on eighth for 19 points on front nine off three quarter handicap (out in 40), set off on back nine not quite so good did tenth, eleventh and twelve in 16 (I'd settle for 15 on these holes most days as they're kind of the Amen Corner of Ashbourne really), however the 6 I had on eleven was due to a three-putt, the first putt to save par caught the hole and horse-shoed out and I didn't take enough care on the tap-in from 12" (which missed!!!). So could have been a par and two bogies instead of two bogies and a double!. Anyway, got better quickly, parred 13,14,15 and 16. Should have parred 17 after being on green in three but proceeded to three-putt, 18th I took a penalty drop as I'd found the very edge of the water hazard off the tee but as I was well ahead of everyone else I wasn't too bothered. End result was 37 points in a three quarter handicap stableford which was 10 points clear of everyone else. Nice. Out in 40 back in 43 off yellow tees was a good start to season and it felt like summer too. Great.
